Previously, the airport has passed the comprehensive assessment and acceptance of relevant state departments, and obtained the official approval of the Civil Aviation Administration. In order to truly expand the opening to the outside world and upgrade to an international airport, Guiyang Airport has invested a lot of money in the construction of hardware and software. It has invested nearly 200 million yuan in the construction of the airport field command center building and the airport overnight building, the expansion of cargo warehouse, the renovation of the airport isolation area, the airport hotel, the airport power supply system, and the comprehensive information system. In particular, it pays attention to the continuous improvement of the functions of the international inspection Office and the international departure Hall to ensure that the hardware facilities meet the requirements, but also greatly improve the comprehensive quality of the staff. The expansion and construction of the airport taxiway, apron and other flight areas was completed in 2006. The airport has a complete taxiway, and 10 more parking stands, and the operation support ability has been comprehensively improved.
At present, the second terminal of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport has been completed and put into use. There are 21 corridor Bridges in the second terminal, and the annual passenger throughput will reach 15.5 million, so as to continuously improve the hardware guarantee level of the airport.
