On November 7th, the 14th CBDA Lighting Application Design Competition National Finals of 2022 Zhu Rong Award officially ushered in a grand opening.

On the first day of the event, the Master Architect Forum of the first Zhu Rong Award General Forum was the first to make an amazing appearance, bringing a large academic exchange feast integrating architecture, interior and lighting for the design industry.

The Master Architect Forum of Zhurong Award General Forum is sponsored by China Building Decoration Association, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning, Xiamen Municipal Construction Bureau, and co-organized by School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Xiamen University, Xiamen Municipal Planning Association, Xiamen Survey and Design Association.

Born in 1956 in Marseille, France, George Bernard is an internationally famous lighting designer and artist. He has more than 20 years of international project creation experience in the field of lighting. With his unique design concept, he has completed cross-boundary cooperation with architects, urban planners, museum scholars, artists, landscape designers and other experts in the field, and his works are all over the world. Among the architects he has worked with are I. M. Pei, Oscar Niemeyer, Robert Venturi, Christian de Portzamparc, Tadao Ando, Renzo Piano, Rem Koolhaas, Jean Nouvel and Shigeru Ban.
