China's first interior lighting design application standard was born

Mr. Zhang Jingyue, vice president and secretary-general of China Building Decoration Association, said at the press conference that 《Application Standards for Interior Space Lighting Design of Architectural Decoration》provides a scientific and reasonable basis for the construction unit, design unit and construction unit to create different indoor space lighting environments, provides professional assistance for improving the quality of interior design works in all aspects, and also provides a series of teaching materials for lighting design teaching in colleges and universities.

This standard is a group standard for engineering construction in China's architectural decoration industry. On the premise of meeting the development needs of the light environment market, it will standardize and guide the decoration designers and lighting designers to use scientific and reasonable design methods and lighting materials to create a healthy, safe, green and comfortable indoor lighting environment, and fill the gap in the application standard for lighting design of architectural decoration interior space. It will play a huge role in further standardizing and managing the indoor lighting product market and promoting the development of green projects and high-quality projects.

On July 28, the《Application Standards for Interior Space Lighting Design of Architectural Decoration》and the 《Application Manual for Interior Space Lighting Design of Architectural Decoration》were prepared by the China Building Decoration Association, together with the design institutes, design institutions, lighting design institutions, lighting manufacturers and other forces of domestic first-class decoration enterprises, over a period of three years. The release of this standard will further promote the development of standardization and specialization in the application of interior space lighting design.
