The sixth station of the 2021CBDA 13th "Zhu Rong Award" Lighting Application Design Competition entered Chengdu and was held in the grand banquet hall on the third floor of the first Renaissance Hotel in Chengdu on July 6, 2021.

This is a design forum feast of light.The Zhu Rong Award has set up special links such as "appointment with masters", "lecture hall for masters of light environment", "future masters" and "lighting competition", bringing together a number of well-known domestic interior designers/lighting designers to participate in the current trends and cases of lighting design and application.

At the competition and answer session of SANTAN Lighting Competition in Chengdu Station,Mr. Yang Rui, the design director of Chengdu Best Desai Lighting Design Co., Ltd., Mr Zhang Yujie, the chief designer of Yuanjie (Chengdu) Decoration Design Co., Ltd., Mr. Lan Haibo, the creative director of CCB Huibang Jiangou Design, and Mr. Liu Yilin, the creative director of Blandi Space Design, led their respective teams to compete and answer about lighting knowledge.

Yuanjie team: Ms. Cai Shengnan, Ms. Men Yanan, Ms. Sun Yue

Yixing team: Mr. Liu Hongping, Mr. Song Qian, Mr. Zhang Rui

Blandi team: Mr.Liu Tianli, Mr. Dai Jun, Ms.Li Haiyan

Finally, Brandi's team stood out and successfully won the "pass" to enter the final competition of the annual finals.

This "Lighting Knowledge Contest" mainly focuses on the following questions and answers, such as: which light source color rendering index CRI is closest to natural light; Where can we consider setting inductive LED lamps to automatically control the opening and closing of lamps; Hotel and club space lighting design, swimming pool design and application, etc. Once again, SANTAN Lighting, as the title unit of the lighting competition and answer in the Chengdu competition area of this financial prize, is committed to training more light lovers and moving forward together on the way of chasing light.

Sharing and communication

Zhu Rong Award Chengdu Station gathered the masters of lighting industry and building environment industry to participate in the event. From the theme of light environment in office space, the lighting design of "Hometown Moon", the natural form of light and other theme cases, create a people-oriented healthy light environment. Analyze more design applications of environmental lighting, and let more young designers explore optical knowledge.

Mr. Zhang Jingyue, Secretary-general of China Building Decoration Association Electrical Branch 

Mr. Zhang Jingyue, Secretary-general of China Building Decoration Association Electrical Branch, said that Zhu Rong Award has been promoting and popularizing lighting design to interior designers throughout the country for 13 years. In order to make the knowledge of interior lighting design more systematic, China Architectural Decoration Association issued lighting design standards covering 18 types of common interior spaces, and a lighting application manual was also provided to help interior designers better improve their lighting design skills.
