"Light Building Plan: Design Empowerment ! From October 28-30th, 2024, the Putian SANTAN store invited Mr. Zheng Qiuwei, a German DIAL Global Certified Instructor and Senior Lighting Designer, to jointly hold a smart lighting sharing session.This event gathered a multitude of interior designers, lighting designers, and industry enthusiasts to explore the essence of lighting design. The two-day Putian SANTAN Lighting Salon with Mr. Zheng Qiuwei was a resounding success!

Mr. Zheng Qiuwei is a national first-class lighting designer, a globally certified lecturer of DIAL Germany, the design director of Zheng Qiuwei (Beijing) Lighting Design Co., Ltd., a specially appointed lecturer for the National Art Fund of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism / Suzhou University of Science and Technology, and a course instructor for the Professional Lighting Designer Competency Assessment Training of the China Illuminating Engineering Society.

At the beginning of the sharing session, Mr. Zheng Qiuwei first sorted out and answered the questions that designers are generally concerned about.To more intuitively illustrate the practical application of lighting design, Mr. Zheng Qiuwei used classic cases to detail how to create spatial atmospheres through lighting design.

Mr. Zheng Qiuwei also focused on explaining the application of basic parameters in lighting design, including color rendering, color temperature, illuminance, etc., as well as the 10 principles of lighting design. At the same time, he shared cases of indirect lighting design and commercial shop lighting design, and provided a detailed explanation for exhibition hall design.

During the sharing session, Mr. Zheng Qiuwei gave a detailed and accessible talk on the themes of lighting design, the relationship between light and space, and the construction of spatial light environments. He first analyzed the common doubts of interior designers in lighting design and, through practical examples such as corridors, elaborated on how to use lighting design to create a comfortable spatial atmosphere. 

When discussing lighting design and commercial store lighting cases, Mr. Zheng Qiuwei demonstrated his unique design philosophy and practical examples. For instance, by concealing light sources and using reflective surfaces such as walls and ceilings for indirect lighting, he not only achieved uniform illumination in the space but also created a soft and warm atmosphere. In the case of commercial store lighting design, Mr. Zheng shared how precise color matching of light, lighting layout, and intelligent control systems can enhance product display, attract customer attention, and promote sales.

To help the participants better understand and grasp the knowledge they have learned, Mr. Zheng Qiuwei also conducted interactive teaching on site, answering the questions raised by the participants. The sharing session was rich in content and highly practical. Through this session, everyone gained a deeper understanding and recognition of smart lighting design.
