Master Showcase.Professor Francesco Murano
Professor Francesco Murano is renowned in Italy as a "national treasure" in lighting design. This acclaim is not only due to his ingenious lighting solutions but also to his dedication and persistence in the field. Graduating from Domus Academy, Murano was mentored by several prominent Italian designers, including Ettore Sottsass and Atelier Mendini. His lighting designs are considered among the few true representatives of Italian elegance. His work on exhibition lighting is particularly distinguished.
Lighting plays a crucial role in the success of exhibitions; good lighting can enhance the content, while poor lighting can diminish the impact of masterful works. Italy, as one of the world's major art exhibition locations, frequently features significant art exhibitions with lighting designed and directed by Murano and his studio. Examples include exhibitions of works by Leonardo Da Vinci, Picasso, Monet, Banksy, and Andy Warhol, among others.
Professor Murano shared his experiences with high-end art projects, covering lighting theory, design techniques, and detail handling. He also provided in-depth analysis of recent art exhibition cases, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of high-end art lighting and stimulating deeper thinking and exploration in this field.
Design Case Brainstorming
Professor Murano participated in a brainstorming session with elite students, using his extensive industry experience and professional knowledge to engage in in-depth discussion and exploration of design cases.
Interactive Q&A
During the training, participants shared their unique ideas and viewpoints, engaging in discussions with the professors to explore solutions and spark creativity and inspiration.
